Last Friday 24 October, in the heart of Amsterdam, we hosted our much-anticipated Job Fair 2025 , a milestone event that marked both the successful completion of the 2025 SpikeUp.AI Data Engineering Bootcamp and the start of new career journeys for our graduates.
Bringing together graduates, partners, sponsors, and friends of SpikeUp.AI, the event was a celebration of learning, opportunity, and connection. Over the past seven months, our students have transformed into certified data analysts &AI professionals, ready to take their next step into the world of work.
Connecting Talent and Industry
The event opened with inspiring presentations from our industry partners and sponsors. We were proud to welcome Deloitte, Plus, Artefact, Brenntag, and Motopp, who shared insights into their organisations and upcoming projects. Each presentation offered valuable context for our graduates, highlighting the wide range of opportunities available in data-driven roles.
We are also very thankful to HackYourFuture for their collaboration and for joining us in making the day such a success. Together, we share the goal of creating pathways into tech for talented individuals from diverse backgrounds.
A Dynamic Speed Dating Session
One of the highlights of the day was the speed dating session, during which graduates had the opportunity to meet company representatives face-to-face. In short, focused conversations, they introduced themselves, presented their CVs, and discussed how their skills could contribute to the participating companies.
This format created an energetic and engaging atmosphere, full of meaningful exchanges. For many graduates, it was their first professional networking experience in the Netherlands, offering a valuable opportunity to build confidence and make lasting connections.
Celebrating Achievement and Collaboration
The SpikeUp.AI Job Fair 2025 was not just about recruitment; it was also about celebrating resilience and accomplishment. Our graduates completed a demanding seven-month bootcamp, earning Google and IBM professional certifications and gaining hands-on experience in data analysis and AI. Their dedication, teamwork, and determination truly stood out throughout the program.
The event concluded with a networking session and informal drinks co-organized with HackYourFuture, the perfect moment to relax, exchange ideas, and celebrate the end of a rewarding journey.
